Response time depends on the model series. MicroAir I and II units use spring-based regulation with a standard response of approximately 2 minutes to full scale. MicroAir IV units feature a precision voice-coil linear motor and respond in less than 0.1 second — typically 20 milliseconds for 50% of a full-scale step — making them ideal for bump and taper tubing applications.

Yes. The MicroAir IV series accepts a 0–10 volt analog input, enabling direct integration with PLCs, diameter gauges, or other external control devices. MicroAir II units accept contact closure (Air Up / Air Down) inputs from OD gauges or other controllers. This makes both series suitable for automated, closed-loop tubing diameter control during extrusion.
