It provides precise internal air support to maintain consistent tubing outside diameter during free extrusion.

Yes. The MicroAir I is engineered to maintain constant pressure even with widely varying flow rates. Its hysteresis-free regulating action with viscostatic damping ensures the output pressure remains stable regardless of changes in downstream air consumption during the extrusion process.

The MicroAir I has a long life expectancy of 10 to 20 years. Its robust stainless steel enclosure, precision internals, and damping fluid-based design minimize wear. Combined with OLC's 3-year warranty on parts and labor, it represents a long-term investment for any extrusion facility.

The MicroAir I is CE compliant, allowing it to be shipped and used internationally. It is also manufactured in the U.S.A. at On Line Controls' facility in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. No field calibration is required, and the unit ships ready for installation with standard 1/4" NPT male air connections.

The MicroAir I requires normal factory compressed air regulated down to approximately 45-50 psi at the input. It then precisely reduces that pressure to the desired ultra-low output set point. Air connections are standard 1/4" NPT male fittings, compatible with typical factory pneumatic infrastructure.
