MicroAir Regulator for Multi-Lumen Tubing Extrusion

MicroAir regulators are available in multiple ultra-low pressure ranges, from 0–3 inches of water up to 0–5 psi. Some models extend to 0–30 inches of water. The appropriate range depends on your tubing material, lumen count, and diameter requirements. Each channel can be configured to a different range on multi-channel units.

The MicroAir I series features manual 30-turn knob control with standard ~2-minute response time. The MicroAir II series adds contact closure inputs for connection to diameter gauges. The MicroAir IV series accepts 0–10V analog input for PLC integration and delivers high-speed response under 0.1 second — making it ideal for bump and taper tubing applications.

The number of channels corresponds to the number of lumens you need to control independently. On Line Controls offers single, dual, 3-channel, and 4-channel MicroAir units. For tri-lumen catheter tubing you would typically select a 3-channel unit; for quad-lumen tubing, a 4-channel MultiAir IV. Each channel can have its own range and display.

Yes. MicroAir II models accept Air Up / Air Down contact closure inputs from diameter gauges or external controllers. MicroAir IV models accept a 0–10V analog signal, enabling direct integration with PLCs, profile controllers, or other automation devices for closed-loop diameter control and programmable bump/taper sequences.
