MicroAir IV units are available in pressure ranges from 0-3 inches of water (ultra-low) up to 0-5 psi. The exact range is selected at the time of order, and On Line Controls also offers a range change service if your process requirements change after purchase.

The MicroAir IV is available in four channel configurations: Single Channel (MAIV), Dual Channel (DMAIV), 3-Channel MultiAir (MU3MAIV), and 4-Channel MultiAir (MU4MAIV). Multi-channel units house all regulators in a single stainless steel enclosure, with each channel independently controllable with its own pressure range and display.

Yes. The MicroAir IV is designed for direct PLC integration via a 0-10V analog input signal. This allows fully automated pressure control during extrusion, including high-speed programmable switching for bump and taper tubing profiles. The single-channel unit also supports a manual 30-turn knob setting and dual-state and linear operating modes.

The MicroAir IV responds in less than 0.1 second — typically around 20 milliseconds — for a 50% full-scale pressure step change. This high-speed response is critical for bump and taper tubing applications where pressure must switch rapidly and precisely between set points without overshoot or oscillation.
