Inches-of-Water Pressure Regulator for Tubing Extrusion

All OLC MicroAir pressure regulators use 1/4" NPT male fittings for air connections. The inlet connects to normal factory air regulated down to approximately 45–65 psi depending on the model, while the output delivers ultra-low pressure from below 1 inch of water up to 5 psi for precise tubing diameter control.

MicroAir regulators cover pressure ranges from as low as 0–2 inches of water up to 0–5 psi depending on the model selected. Multiple range options are available including 0–3", 0–5", 0–10", 0–15", and 0–30" of water, as well as 0–3 psi and 0–5 psi, making them suitable for a wide variety of tubing extrusion processes.

MicroAir I uses manual 30-turn knob control for simple, stable set-point regulation. MicroAir II adds contact closure inputs for integration with diameter gauges or external controllers with standard ~2 minute response. MicroAir IV uses a precision voice-coil linear motor with 0–10V analog or PLC input and delivers high-speed response in under 0.1 second, ideal for bump and taper tubing applications.
