MicroAir regulators are engineered for a wide range of plastic tubing extrusion applications including medical and catheter tubing, multi-lumen tubing, bump and taper tubing, automotive tubing, plastic profile extrusion, micro-tube manufacturing, and plastic straw extrusion. Their ultra-low pressure control capability makes them especially suited for tight-tolerance medical-grade applications.

The MicroAir I is a manual-control unit using a precise 30-turn adjustment knob, ideal for stable set-point operation. The MicroAir II adds contact closure input capability, allowing automatic control from a diameter gauge or external controller. The MicroAir IV features a high-speed voice-coil linear motor accepting 0–10V analog or PLC input, with response times under 0.1 second — suitable for bump, taper, and high-speed switching applications.

MicroAir regulators are available in single channel, dual channel, 3-channel, and 4-channel configurations. Multi-channel units are housed in a single stainless steel enclosure, and each channel can be configured with a different pressure range and its own digital display and output option — making them ideal for multi-lumen tubing production.

Yes. The MicroAir IV series accepts a 0–10V analog input, enabling direct integration with PLCs, diameter gauges, or other control devices. The MicroAir II series accepts contact closure inputs (Air Up / Air Down) from external diameter controllers. This makes both series compatible with most modern extrusion line automation setups.

The MicroAir IV series offers high-speed response of less than 0.1 second — typically around 20 milliseconds for a 50% full-scale step change. This makes it well-suited for bump and taper tubing applications where rapid, programmable pressure switching is required. The MicroAir I and II series operate at a standard response of approximately 2 minutes to full scale.

All MicroAir regulators include a 3-year warranty covering parts and labor, plus unlimited phone support for the life of the product.
